First ASSA Cliq System Installed in Western Canada

The Tseshaht in British Columbia, needed a security product that did not require hard wiring, was easily expandable, and simple and intuitive to manage.

If the solution was aesthetically pleasing as well, that couldn’t hurt either. So Ian McCulloch AHC, Sales Consultant and Bud Park, Integrated Solutions Specialist had just the solution.

The office, a First Nations people building, built to promote friendship and wellness in the community, incorporates all the administration and support structure for the Tseshaht area near Point Alberni. The building is truly stunning as it overlooks the Somass River.

What began as a standard installation has since expanded through the entire building. “Cliq has tons of potential with the right people in place to commission and maintain these systems.  The ease of installation, flexibility and relative cost of Cliq make it an easy sell for many applications,” says Ian McCulloch, AHC. An addition to the lock installation, the original database was also completed for their Windows XP Professional system and the upgrade worked perfectly.

All-in-all, the installation of the CLIQ rev.2.8 into the Tseshaht, was flawless with absolutely no difficulties experienced.
The CLIQ system for the First Nations people currently holds 16 cylinders and 32 keys and expansion is anticipated over the next year, as this facility will be expanding its security system further.
