ASSA ABLOY Brands offer Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) or Product Take-Back Program
The latest version of LEED awards credit for products with extended producer responsibility (EPR) programs
ASSA ABLOY Group brands have launched Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) product take-back programs for processing and disposing of products that have reached the end of their useful life.
Hardware brands Corbin Russwin, Markar, McKinney, Norton, Pemko, Rixson, Rockwood, Sargent and Yale along with door brands Baron, Ceco Door, Curries, Graham, Maiman and SMP Specialty Door now offer a free Product End-of-Life Recycling program that accepts each brand's products that have reached the end of their life cycle and are beyond the product's warranty period, and disposes of them in an environmentally responsible manner.
LEED v4 gives credit for products with extended producer responsibility or EPR programs.
Consult each brand's Product End-of-Life Recycling program policy sheet for additional details.
